ABOUT THE DESTINATION
Kuortane Olympic Training Center is located in the municipality of Kuortane in the western part of Finland, a 1.5-hour drive from the city of Vaasa.
The training center offers track and field athletes both indoor and outdoor facilities.
Kuortane Indoor Arena (World Athletics accredited training center) has a 200m Mondo oval running track, 140m running straight, jumping and throwing areas, and a weightlifting area/gym complex.
At a short walking distance from the indoor arena, athletes can find a 400m outdoor track (Mondo) with facilities for all running, jumping, and throwing disciplines.
From the center area and from its immediate surroundings, many different routes and trails can be found for road and trail running.
